On Sunday, September 9th I will be joining the SCBWI crew at Bookfest in Ann Arbor and I hope you’ll come see me!
From 12:30-2:30, I will be representing the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators along with fellow authors and illustrators:

If you’re not familiar with Bookfest, it’s an annual event that brings together authors, illustrators, publishers, booksellers, and various artisans. I participated in 2015 and attended the event last year with Ashley and the boys. A word of warning: we bought A LOT of books. Needless to say, bring a large, durable tote. It’ a ton a fun and I’m really excited to be there!
I will have copies of The Great Big Scary Monster and Sloth VS Turtle and will be giving away my new watercolors and bunny bookmarks. And, the first 50 kids who visit me at the SCBWI booth will get a free notebook and crayons!
Make the trip to Ann Arbor—you won’t regret it!
