August of Tattle 

 

When August receives a mysterious letter asking for her help, she doesn't think twice about accepting the case. August's best friend Nora, a little robot, fails to persuade the detective not to go.

 

Hours later, the pair find themselves shipwrecked on Wooden Island, a desolate place in remote waters. Now August must rely on her keen mind and detective skills to make it back home once more.
